About StraightKeys
A different way to buy a home.
Buying a home is the largest purchase most people ever make. StraightKeys exists so you can carry it out yourself - with structure, verification, and a record of every step.
Why StraightKeys exists
For decades, the process was built around intermediaries - someone to hold the forms, chase the deadlines, and relay your answers. That made sense when the paperwork lived in filing cabinets. It doesn't anymore.
This isn't a case against anyone. It's a different way through: software carries the structure - the forms, the milestones, the verified parties, the money trail - and you keep the decisions. Every one of them.
If that sounds like a lot to take on, take a breath. The toolkit was designed for exactly that feeling: everything is laid out one step at a time, nothing is sent until you approve it, and every approval is logged where you can see it.
Compliance first
What StraightKeys is - and what it is not
Real estate is regulated for good reason. We built inside those lines on purpose, and we would rather tell you plainly where they are.
A self-help toolkit, not a brokerage stand-in
StraightKeys does not act for you in this purchase. You are the buyer; the software structures what you decide to send. Every offer, signature, and payment waits for your explicit approval.
Attorney-approved forms - never drafted legal language
The document engine fills attorney-approved forms with the terms you choose. It never drafts legal language. When a question needs a lawyer, we say so plainly - a flat-fee consult with an independent attorney is available anytime.
Your money never passes through StraightKeys
Deposits and payments go to licensed escrow and title companies - never to StraightKeys. At no point do we hold your money.
Where state law differs, the stricter reading wins
Real estate law changes from state to state. Where two readings are possible, the product follows the stricter one. Nothing on this site is a claim about what is legal in your state.
How we make money
Flat fees, out in the open
StraightKeys charges flat fees for the work the software performs - never a percentage of your home's price.
Fees are settled at close - never upfront, never financed into your loan.
In the builder-direct program, the builder pays the platform fee - typically $1,500-$4,000 per closing, flat - and buyers pay no platform fee at all.
That per-closing fee, plus a flat software subscription builders pay per community, is the whole model today. No referral fees from lenders or title companies, no placement fees from anyone who wants your business - and StraightKeys' fees are flat, never a percentage of anything.
Principles
Four things that never change
You review and send everything.
No offer, signature, or payment moves without your explicit approval. The software prepares; you decide.
Everyone is verified.
Buyers, builders, title - every party in every transaction proves who they are. Homes without agents are a fraud target; verification is how strangers safely hand each other keys.

Every approval is logged.
Each approval is recorded with a date and a receipt you can see. If you ever need to show who agreed to what, and when - it's there.

Your choice of lender, title, and attorney - always.
We list options; you choose. Using anyone's affiliate is never required and never changes your price.
See it for yourself
You don't have to take our word for any of it. Start with the free tools - a commission calculator and a seller net-sheet generator - and see exactly what the toolkit does.
