You are buying without an agent. StraightKeys is your toolkit - it does not represent you in this purchase. You review and send every decision yourself.
What “a toolkit, not an agent” means
StraightKeys structures your purchase so you can run it yourself. In practice:
- Offers. You set the terms, you review the completed offer, and you send it. StraightKeys assembles and transmits - nothing reaches the builder until you approve.
- Signatures. Nothing is signed in your name automatically. Each signature waits for your explicit approval.
- Payments. No money moves until you approve it. Every approval - offer, signature, or payment - is logged with a timestamp you can review at any time.
What StraightKeys does not do
- It does not negotiate on your behalf. You negotiate - it structures every term for you to send.
- It does not give legal advice.
- It does not hold your funds.
When a licensed professional is involved
- Money. Earnest money and closing funds are handled by licensed escrow and title companies - never by StraightKeys.
- Custom legal terms. Independent attorneys are available for custom terms - a flat-fee consult, with the price shown before you book.
- Documents. Documents are assembled from attorney-approved templates using your terms, and each one carries a disclaimer: document assembly is not a substitute for an attorney, and StraightKeys is not a law firm.
